and the back wheels on 7.5" center blocks . no jack stands were used although I did use a floor jack to raise the rear end to rotate the drive shaft in order to get to all the bolts then right back down on the blocks . once I got the tranny down using a tranny jack ,I removed the jack and with the tranny on the ground I slid it out the back of the car . all of the car weight was on these 7.5" blocks and i still had room to get the engine out the top and the tranny out the back with alot of room to work all the way around and nothing in the way . very clean.
